Job Description:

Work closely with the Zerust Oil and Gas team, clients and affiliated Universities in the sales, development, study, testing and implementation of Zerust hydrotesting additives.
Focus is on corrosion inhibitors for corrosion mitigation of large volume assets during hydrotesting.
Responsible for understanding client problems and working with the NTIC technical and client management teams to develop/design, test and/or select the appropriate solution(s). Should be able to communicate effectively with client teams and present solution approaches/papers.
Provide technical support to customers before, during and after hydrotesting.
Have close interaction with a variety of technical colleagues as well as marketing, sales, and production groups within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to NTIC’s customers, sales team and partners around the world in the application of NTIC’s products, especially targeting hydrostatic testing.
  • Develop sales for hydrotesting products.
  • Lead and manage all phases of assigned projects. This includes close coordination of technical issues with other NTI team members, NTI’s Joint Venture, NTI consultants and NTI suppliers and contract manufacturers. For certain projects, will also manage and coordinate critical project activities with key customers and joint-development partners.
  • Travel to client sites/facilities – both domestic and international – as required (estimated at 40%)
  • Gather market intelligence on new technologies/competitive products.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of BS degree in chemistry or related engineering, plus have a minimum of 10 years practical, industrial experience.
  • Have a foundation in chemistry.
  • Must have a knowledge of relevant hydrotesting specifications, such as ASMW B31.4, B31.8 and API RP1110.
  • Knowledge of typical hydrotesting chemicals for corrosion, scale, hardness, etc
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without now or in the future needing sponsorship.
  • Have the ability to work in a team orientated environment as well as independently.
  • Be able to complete tasks within a time frame and budget.
  • Possess effective oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Computer literate (MS Office Suite).
  • Knowledge of typical water disposal regulations is beneficial.

Physical Requirements of Job:

Tasks require standing and walking, or frequent light lifting (5-10 lbs.); or dexterity required in the use of fingers, limbs, or body in the operation of shop or office equipment. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at keyboard or testing stations. Exposure and involvement working with various chemicals and testing stations/equipment will require mobility. Travel to hydrotesting jobsites likely.
